Medely, an established leader in technology-based healthcare staffing solutions, is excited to announce the addition of Brent Loder<\/a> as Chief Financial Officer.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBrent brings a rare combination of marketplace expertise, strategic rigor, and operational excellence,\u201d Waleed Nasr, CEO of Medely, shared. \u201cHis leadership will be instrumental as we scale Medely\u2019s impact across the healthcare industry. I\u2019m excited for what we\u2019ll accomplish together as we enter this next phase of growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before joining Medely, Brent held several high-impact roles at leading marketplace companies. For the past five years, he led FP&A and Investor Relations at Turo, a peer-to-peer car-sharing marketplace. Prior to Turo, Brent spent a year at Airbnb, overseeing the Finance function for their hotels division. And before Airbnb, he was with HotelTonight, where he helped lead FP&A and Strategic Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With extensive experience in marketplace businesses, Brent brings a deep understanding of the complex financial dynamics that drive our fast-growing platform\u2014one that serves both healthcare facilities and healthcare professionals.  \u201cWhat came naturally,\u201d Brent shared, \u201cwas the familiarity with marketplace models. I\u2019ve spent so much time in this space that the language, the strategic thinking, and the balancing of supply and demand all feel second nature. Having led large, rapidly scaling marketplaces in the past has allowed me to really hit the ground running.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Brent steps into his first role in the healthcare sector, he\u2019s motivated by the opportunity to address the inefficiencies in staffing that have strained the broader healthcare system. \u201cThe market is massive; it impacts everyone, regardless of who you are, where you live, or what stage of life you’re in,\u201d Brent said. \u201cAt some point, we all rely on healthcare. The chance to help make this system more efficient and responsive is incredibly compelling to me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As he settles into his role, Brent\u2019s primary goal is simple: strengthening Medely\u2019s financial goals so it can grow to be the go-to staffing solution for healthcare facilities across the country. \u201cGrowth is very much a focus,\u201d Brent shared. \u201cI want to build this to be a fast-growing, super efficient marketplace. Marketplace businesses, in general, tend to be a winner-take-all situation, and I think we have a really great foundation here at Medely from which to try and capture this market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medely\u2019s ambitious, mission-driven team left a strong impression on Brent from his very first interview through the early days in his new role. \u201cFrom my initial conversation with CEO Waleed Nasr, I was struck by his clarity and focus,\u201d Brent shared. \u201cHe\u2019s deeply analytical, direct, and has a strong grasp of how marketplace businesses operate. I also respect his track record as a successful entrepreneur. When he laid out his long-term vision for Medely, it immediately resonated with me\u2014I knew it was something I wanted to be part of.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Brent develops a financial strategy aligned with Medely\u2019s broader business objectives, he\u2019s energized by the opportunity to collaborate with a team so passionate about transforming the healthcare industry. \u201cI\u2019m genuinely excited to be here and inspired by the company\u2019s vision and mission,\u201d Brent said. \u201cThe leadership team\u2014and really the entire organization\u2014has impressed me with their drive and culture.
